Home of Winterhaven Cavalier King Charles Spaniels by Breeder Mary Hanus

Dedicated to the breeding and exhibiting of quality purebred dogs for over forty years. We are located in the Northern Highland State Forest, near the beautiful resort community of Minocqua in northern Wisconsin. After fifteen years of raising and showing American Cocker Spaniels, we fell in love with Cavalier King Charles Spaniels. We have now obtained over ninety AKC championship titles on our Cavaliers and Cockers.

Our Beginning ....

"Lindsey", my first Cavalier, was the dam of two champions and the love of my life. She taught me just what it was like to be owned by a cavalier. We lost our lovely Lindsey suddenly in to cancer, she was 12 1/2 years old at her passing. There isn't a day that goes by that she is not missed. She lives on in our hearts and the wonderful memories


		CH Chanctonbury Kiss, ROM "Kissy" received a Register of Merit Award from the American Cavalier King Charles Club in recognition as a dam who produced six AKC Champions. Sweet Kissy left this world at 15-1/2 years and had a very full life right up until the end. Kissy's wonderful legacy carries on through her beautiful children and grand children. This picture was taken on her 14th birthday. Thank you Janet Beck, Chanctonbury, for allowing us the opportunity to have both of these ladies in our life
